What are the chances of winning the Premier League if you follow Darlington? Exactly, but every club's got a great chance of nabbing the biggest fans prize with the launch of Sky Sports' The 92.
Every one of the 92 league sides (see how the name makes sense – clever, eh!) relies on their fans to make them climb The 92 table. Regardless of Billy big budgets like Man City or small and beautiful clubs like Accrington Stanley, the92.co.uk gives points and plaudits for the amount of fan activity. Every fan, every photo and every comment will influence a team’s performance in the only fan league that matters. Built and maintained by Chroma from the brainchild of Brothers & Sisters, Chroma is now at the centre of the beating heart of football fandom.
After signing up for a free account, fans post their photos and comments on their team's wall for all to see. The enigmatic and anonymous Gaffer examines each photo and every comment and dishes out the points and bonus points as teams go head-to-head. The more quality pictures and comments, the better the club will do in the Fans’ League.
The project has been rolled out in stages from the beginning of the 2009/2010 season. Our in-house journalists monitor the latest footy news and fan participation to keep everything running smoothly. They also make sure all content is safe for family viewing (no dodgy back of the supporters coach pics here). And fans can even link The 92 to their profile in a Chroma-built live Facebook app.
Can your club rely on you to get them to the top? Sign up and get started! The clock is ticking and every click on The 92 counts…
