Racing UK’s Cheltenham countdown

The Racing UK countdown clock says it’s 3 days and 22 hours until it all kicks off.

We are, of course, talking about the four days of magic, magnificence and madness that is the Cheltenham Festival.

Starting on Tuesday March 13, it is difficult not to overstate the scale and importance of the Festival to the racing world.

Traffic to the Chroma-built Racing UK website, Android app, iPhone apps and mobile site will triple. Back-page horseracing coverage will become front-page news.

Everyone will have their fingers crossed to see if legendary multiple Cheltenham Gold Cup and King George VI winner Kauto Star can overcome injury in time for the big race. Tickets sales have topped 200,000.
