We’ve only just gone and won the Web Marketing Association’s Standard of Excellence WebAward for 2009 for our work with Action Aid and the Adivasi project.
Get us!
The gong is given to websites that have achieved excellence in seven criteria: Design, Innovation, Content, Technology, Interactivity, Copywriting and Ease of use.
And we got exceptional scores for the Innovation, Technology and Interactivity bits.
The Adivasi March site was built with classroom education in mind and kids can create their own avatar before joining the march in the two beautifully illustrated Indian villages. Have a butcher’s for yourself.
We’re really chuffed and the Champagne corks – sorry Panda cola cans – haven’t stopped popping since.
Chroma MD Paddy O’Clery said: ‘We loved this project. The illustration is a joy and the usability is perfect for curious young minds. You should see the look on kids’ faces when they use this site – they love it too.
‘We’re really proud of our work and its brilliant the hard work of the designers, developers and team has been recognised by the WebAward people.’
